3.1 Primary Product – Ghosts: The primary product offered by Post A Ghost Ltd is the AI-generated Ghost. Our ghost characters are partly AI-generated based on predefined criteria. The AI generates a random ghost character, including the ghost’s name, image, and backstory. However, not all elements are AI-generated—you may choose to personalise the character if you wish to add specific traits, names, or other personal details. If you don’t opt for personalisation, a random ghost will be created for you.

3.1.1 Artistic Variation: The sample certificate and ghost images displayed on our Website are provided for illustrative purposes only. While we aim to maintain a consistent visual style, the actual appearance of your certificate and or AI-generated ghost may differ in terms of design, tone, colour, and detail. Post A Ghost Ltd retains full artistic license over the visual representation of each ghost, and we reserve the right to modify or adapt the visual aesthetic as part of the creative process.

3.2 Other Products: In addition to our AI-generated Ghosts, Post A Ghost Ltd also offers other physical and fantasy-themed products, which can be purchased on our Website. These products may include ghost-catching kits, transportation kits, and other novelty items.

3.3 Certificate: When purchasing a Ghost, a certificate of ownership will be provided to you. This certificate serves as confirmation of your purchase and ownership of the ghost. It acts as a receipt, not the actual product. The actual item you have purchased is the Ghost itself.

3.4 Personalisation: Personalisation is available for an additional cost. If you do not select personalisation, a random ghost will be generated for you. If you choose personalisation, you will be prompted to enter details such as the ghost’s name, traits, and story preferences.

4.1 We accept payments via Stripe, a secure online payment gateway. We accept the following payment methods:

4.2 All transactions are processed in GBP (£).

  1. Shipping and Delivery

5.1 Shipping:

  • For UK customers (excluding Northern Ireland), we will provide physical products such as ghost certificates and related merchandise by post.
  • For customers outside of the UK, we will provide the purchased items as PDF documents that can be printed at home.

5.2 Shipping Times: Orders within the UK will typically be shipped within 5 to 7 working days. We aim to dispatch all products as quickly as possible, but please note that delivery times may vary depending on demand.

5.3 International Shipping: We do not ship physical items internationally. International customers can still purchase our products, but they will receive PDF versions of their ghost certificates and related content.

6.1 An order is considered as purchased and a binding contract is formed between you and Post A Ghost Ltd when payment is processed successfully. Upon payment, the AI generation process will begin, and we will begin preparing your order for dispatch.

6.2 While we begin processing your order immediately after payment is received, your order will not be considered “shipped” until it is physically posted. The contract is only considered fully executed when the product has been dispatched to you. However, for your purposes, once payment is received and processing begins, the order is confirmed.

  1. Cooling-Off Period

7.1 Due to the nature of our products (AI-generated ghosts and automated processes), we regret that we are unable to offer a cooling-off period or refunds once the purchase has been made.

7.2 Ghost Returns: While we can’t offer refunds, we understand that sometimes ghosts may need to be returned. If you wish to return your ghost within 12 months of purchase, you must purchase one of our Ghost Catching Kits and Transportation Kits. This is a necessary precaution to ensure that the ghost is safely captured and not released during the return process. (We can’t risk the ghost escaping, you see!).

7.3 Certificate: Please note that the certificate is not the primary product—it is an accessory confirming your ownership of the ghost. The actual item you have purchased is the ghost itself.

8.1 Damage or Defect: If you believe your ghost character is defective or damaged (e.g., the character’s attributes are incorrect), please contact us with detailed evidence (e.g., screenshots or photos) within 7 days of receiving your purchase.

8.2 Definition of Damage: Given that our products are AI-generated characters, they cannot technically “break” in the traditional sense. However, if there are errors in the character’s design (e.g., the ghost’s name or image is not as expected), we will assess the issue and offer a solution.

8.3 We aim to create fun and quirky ghost characters, but if you feel there is a serious issue, we will work to rectify it to ensure you are happy with your purchase.

  1. Refunds and Cancellations

9.1 Due to the nature of our products (AI-generated content), we do not accept cancellations once the order has been processed and the product has been shipped.

9.2 No Refunds: We do not offer refunds unless the product is defective or we fail to provide the purchased ghost in a reasonable time-frame.

Refund and Cancellation Policy for Post A Ghost Ltd

At Post A Ghost Ltd, we strive to ensure that our customers are satisfied with their purchases. However, due to the unique nature of our products, including AI-generated ghost characters that may be either randomly generated or personalised based on your preferences, certain exceptions apply to our Refund and Cancellation Policy. Due to the bespoke and often personalised nature of many of our products (such as AI-generated ghost characters), we do not offer the standard 14-day cooling-off period for cancellations under UK consumer law. 1.2 Order Cancellation

Once an order has been placed and payment has been processed, the AI generation process for your ghost character will begin immediately. 1.3 Non-Cancellable Items

Orders for personalised or customisable products are non-cancellable once the AI generation process has started. This includes personalised ghosts where you have selected custom traits, names, or backstories. For randomly generated ghosts, cancellations are still not possible once the creation process has commenced.

Returning a ghost? Please bear in mind that our ghosts are unique entities, and as such, any returns must be handled with the utmost care. If you wish to return your ghost, you must first purchase one of our Ghost Catching Kits or Ghost Transportation Kits to safely contain and transport your spirit back to us. After all, we can’t risk your ghost escaping into the ether!

5.2 Refund Upon Return

If you purchase a Ghost Catching Kit or Ghost Transportation Kit to return a ghost, we will refund the cost of your original ghost character upon receiving the ghost back in its appropriate container. Please note that the cost of the Ghost Catching Kit or Ghost Transportation Kit is non-refundable.
